Urban Company, incorporated in December 2014, is a technology-driven, full-stack online marketplace that provides a wide range of home and beauty services. As of June 30, 2025, it has expanded its presence to 51 cities across India, the United Arab Emirates, and Singapore, excluding the regions covered by its joint venture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Through its platform, consumers can conveniently book services such as cleaning, plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, beauty treatments, and massage therapy, all delivered by trained and background-verified professionals. The company has also diversified into home solutions by launching water purifiers and electronic door locks under the brand name ‘Native’. To support its service professionals, Urban Company offers training, tools, financing, insurance, and branding, thereby enhancing service quality and improving earning potential. By net transaction value, it is recognized as a leading online full-stack home and beauty services platform during the nine months ended December 2024. The Indian home services market, valued at USD 59.2 billion in 2024, is expected to grow to USD 97.4 billion by 2029, with online penetration still below 1%, reflecting significant growth opportunities. In the three months ended June 30, 2025, the platform recorded an average of 54,347 active monthly service professionals, each completing at least one service in a given month. Operating across more than 12,000 service micro-markets as of June 2025, Urban Company generates revenue through its consumer-facing platform services, the sale of products to service professionals for use during service delivery, and the sales of its Native-branded products to consumers.
