Having completed its public offering, Star Health & Allied Insurance Limited's is now listed and trading on the NSE, BSE exchange as of Dec 10, 2021. The IPO raised cumulative capital of 6,68,82,461 Shares, including 2,22,32,230 Shares in primary capital infusion and ₹4018.03 Cr in secondary market transactions.
The IPO was conducted with a price range of ₹870 to ₹900 and minimum investment requirement of 16 shares. subscription activity between Nov 30, 2021 and Dec 02, 2021 reflected market assessment of the offering's valuation and prospects.
The allotment process finalized on Dec 07, 2021 distributed equity ownership to successful bidders. The listing established a transparent market mechanism for share trading, price discovery, and investor participation in the company's future growth.

Incorporated in 2006, Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Ltd is one of India’s largest private health insurers, holding a market share of 15.8% in FY2021. The company mainly focuses on retail and group health insurance, which together accounted for most of its gross written premium during the year. Policies are largely sold through individual agents, along with corporate agents and bank partners. As of September 2021, Star Health had a wide distribution network of 779 branches across 25 states and 5 union territories, and one of the largest hospital networks in the country with over 11,778 empanelled hospitals.
