Founded in 1998, Cotec Healthcare Limited is a pharmaceutical company operating as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with capabilities across 24 types of formulations. The company manufactures a wide range of products such as injectables, tablets, capsules, ointments, eye drops, syrups, and infusions, covering multiple therapeutic areas including pain relief, antibiotics, cardiovascular care, dermatology, women’s health, nutrition, and supplements. Its manufacturing facility is located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, with a large production capacity of over 4,000 million units as of March 31, 2025. Cotec serves a broad customer base, including well-known pharma companies, and operates across both domestic and international markets, supplying products across India and exporting to several countries. The company is also planning to expand its global presence into new regions like Central Asia, Africa, and Europe. As of August 31, 2025, it had 419 permanent employees along with over 200 contract workers.
