Bonfiglioli Transmissions Ltd is one of India’s leading technology-driven companies providing mechanical and electro-mechanical power transmission and industrial drive solutions, specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-precision gearboxes and drive systems used across various industries. Its product portfolio includes low, medium, and heavy-duty gear motors and gearboxes with torque capacities ranging from 13 Nm to 1,400 kNm, along with helical, bevel, planetary, and worm gear systems, electric motors, variable frequency drives, servo motors, and precision drives for robotics and automation. The company serves three key segments—industry and automation solutions, off-highway mobility, and the wind industry—and is among the largest gearbox and drive manufacturers in India in the industrial segment, catering to both OEMs and end-users. It operates three manufacturing facilities in India located in Thirumudivakkam and Mannur in Tamil Nadu, and Talegaon in Maharashtra, with a combined production of over 330,000 gear motors and gearboxes in fiscal 2024. The company also provides strong after-sales support through a network of service engineers across 13 sales offices, and in the nine months ended September 30, 2025, it served more than 1,000 customers, including major clients such as ElectroMech Material Handling Systems, GMM Pfaudler, Milltec Machinery, Terex India, and Ammann India.
