The company began its operations in Mumbai by manufacturing high-efficiency ultrasonic transducers for non-destructive testing, quickly gaining recognition in the industry as transducers are a key component of ultrasonic instruments. In 1985, it started producing ultrasonic flaw detectors and thickness gauges and became the first to introduce a microprocessor-based flaw detector in 1986. Its strong focus on research and development led to the creation of innovative products such as compact flaw detectors, single element transducer thickness gauges, concrete testers, liquid level indicators and pest repellers, and as production expanded, it set up additional facilities in the Gandhinagar Electronic Zone.
