Founded in 2000, Molbio Diagnostics Limited is a healthcare company focused on providing fast, accurate, and affordable diagnostic solutions for both infectious and non-communicable diseases. Its key product, the Truenat platform, is a portable PCR-based testing system that can deliver results within an hour, even in remote or low-resource areas, and is used to detect diseases like tuberculosis, COVID-19, hepatitis, HIV, and HPV. The company also offers radiology, digital pathology, and breast health screening solutions through its group entities and partners. It operates five manufacturing facilities across India to produce diagnostic devices, test kits, and portable X-ray systems. With a presence in over 80 countries and a strong distributor network, Molbio serves public health programs, hospitals, and diagnostic labs worldwide, generating revenue from both device sales and recurring test kit usage. As of March 31, 2025, the company had around 1,000 permanent employees along with over 1,500 contract workers.
